The Vicious Old Goat

I met a vicious looking old goat
Who was dressed in a frock coat.
He said, “I will be level.
I am the wicked old devil!”.
So I skinned and ate that goat!

Whilst Chasing After A Rather Large Moth

Whilst chasing after a rather large moth
I caught the Devil in a cloth.
When he said to me,
“You must let me free!”,
I said, “I’ve caught a talking moth!”.

He Longed for Girls in High-Heels

He longed for girls in high-heels,
With soft,
Perfect skin.
But the devil coughed
And reminded him
That he was growing old
And that he had sold
His soul
For lust
To girls in high-heels
Who love gold,
Which crumbles into dust

Sunday Humour

Last night as I walked in
I heard a terrible din.
There by the fireplace
Dressed in silk and lace
Sat the devil drinking my neat gin!

Last night as I walked in
I heard a terrible din.
There by my fireplace
Dressed in silk and lace
Sat Lucifer playing the violin.

Last night as I lay in sleep
The devil into my room did creep.
I remember her sweet scent
And the time we spent
And now I’m off to sleep …

As I went to bed last night
I met a young lady called White.
When I said “what are you doing here!?”
She replied “autumn evenings are so drear”.
‘So please, turn out the light”.

Halloween Humour

There was a young lady called Lin
Who grew a giant pumpkin.
On the night of Halloween
I have often seen
The Devil dance and grin!

There was a young lady called Lin
Who grew a giant pumpkin.
On the night of Halloween
Or so I glean
She lit that giant pumpkin.

There was a young lady called Lin
Who committed a most terrible sin.
Twas in the depths of the dark
When, with her brother Mark
She stole my prize pumpkin!

Derth

Deep in the soul
Where CCTV
Can not penetrate,
A devil does wait
And whispers, “my goal
Is to make you free.
Come with me
Where the light is no more
And see what pleasures are in store
For those who would ignore
Society’s law.

Empty the brain
And do not restrain
Your carnal needs.
Only the herd feeds
On the myth of The Fall.
Pleasure is all,
Come with me
And be free”.

One may look up to heaven above
And call upon God’s love.
But what if we are alone
In our temple of skin and bone,
With only our conscience weak
To speak?
Shall the meek
Inherit the earth?
I fear
There is a clear
Dearth
Of proof
In support of this “truth”.
