I am delighted to announce that my collection of poems “The Churchyard Yew and Other Poems” is available on Amazon in Kindle format. The Paperback should be available in the next couple of days, and I will post links to it once the book goes live.
The photograph on the book cover shows the churchyard of St John the Evangelists Church in Upper Norwood. The photograph was taken by my friend Michelle Whiteside.
The book description reads as follows:
A miscellany of poems about nature, passing time and relationships.
If you read “The Churchyard Yew” please do consider reading a review on Amazon.

I was delighted to appear on the World Poetry Reading Series for Thursday 21 December, https://www.mixcloud.com/VictorSchwartzman/world-poetry-cafe-for-dec-21-2023-with-alaha-ahrar-kevin-morris-and-timileyin-gabriel-olajuwon/. My segment appears approximately 16 minutes into the podcast and runs for around 9 minutes.
During the podcast, I answered questions on what inspires me to write poetry, and read 2 of my poems.
I listened to the podcast using Google Chrome, but other browsers should also work.
My thanks to Ariadne Sawyer of the World Poetry Reading Series for hosting me on her show.

In Early December
In early December
November’s leaves still adorn
The woodland lawn.
Man’s pattern is made
In light and shade
And the gardener’s rake
Rakes all leaves.

I have recently created a poetry t shirt, which shows my poem ‘Fallen Blossom’ :
I found
Blossom on the ground.
Which brought
To mind the thought,
We all,
As the blossom, fall.
The t shirt was manufactured by a company called Fluid Branding.
Fallen Blossom can be found in my collection, More Poetic Meanderings which is available in Kindle and Paperback from Amazon.
