A most beautiful young lady named Leigh
Has composed an erotic poem about me.
Her verse is real great
And I just can’t wait,
As she’s invited me round for tea …
Hyacinths
I bought hyacinths yesterday.
Their scent
Will stay
For a brief time.
And I rhyme
Of repent
And lost hours
Midst passing flowers.
But I
Will buy
Joy and pain,
Of hyacinths again.

When the elderly and great Lady Lake
Said, “sir, you are a terrible rake!
And as for Miss Hocking,
Please give back her stocking!”.
I said, “your ladyship makes a mistake!”.
Socks
She kept
Her socks on.
As you would expect,
No one wept.
Then she was gone.

Turned to his Special Adviser,
