If my clock antique
Could, somehow speak
What would it say?
Yet, it’s chime
Speaks of time
And my brief day.
If my clock antique
Could, somehow speak
What would it say?
Yet, it’s chime
Speaks of time
And my brief day.
Last night as I homeward went
I met a girl from Kent.
When I wrote a rhyme
About the concept of time
She wept and returned to Kent!
As I swam with my friends the seals
I met a young lady in stiletto heels
Who said, “to swim
Is surely no sin,
But its not easy when wearing these heels!”.
Last night I went
For a walk
Through fallen leaves
And thought
How their sweet scent
Will soon
Be spent.
There once was a squire called Winning
Who was fond of sinning with women.
His old wife Jane
Blew out his brain
Which impaired squire Winning’s sinning with women …!
A young lady who dresses in green
Is well known on the swinging scene.
My girlfriend Miss Coral
Is really quite moral
And she looks real pretty in green …!
I start
To write
As morning’s light
Begins to show.
The dark
Must follow
Morning’s glow.
Only the hollow
Do not know
That tis so.
As I walked through the churchyard real late
I met a young lady named Miss Kate.
When she rattled her chains
And showed me her brains.
I said, “stop that great racket Miss Kate!”
A young lady whose name is Claire
Just happens to have my silk underwear.
We had enjoyed a good drink,
But its not what you think
As the bishop and Flair where there!
As I walked home one dark Halloween
I met a young lady in green.
Her name it was Grace
And back at her place
Sat the devil eating strawberries and cream!
