I don’t exactly flip over free verse either (figure you might as well just write a short story), so I love this poem!
I’m delighted you love my poem! My preference is also for rhyming poetry, and that is what I tend to write. There is, however some great free verse. For example T. S. Eliot. But rhyme is the form of poetry which comes most naturally to me. Many thanks for commenting. Kevin
