I see a line
Of pert
Girls who flirt.
But I find
That they have time
On their mind.
On hot nights
They pass in tites
Or with legs bare.
Black or white
I do not care.
But when clocks chime
We are out of time.
I see a line
Of pert
Girls who flirt.
But I find
That they have time
On their mind.
On hot nights
They pass in tites
Or with legs bare.
Black or white
I do not care.
But when clocks chime
We are out of time.
I know a young lady called More
Who all the men adore.
When she flutters her eye
All gentlemen sigh
But she rarely gives them more …
I know a young lady called More
Who all the men adore.
Each night at bedtime
I compose a rhyme,
Which always makes her snore!
I know a young lady called More
Who all the men adore.
My friend Louise
Is a terrible tease
But she’s nothing compared to More!
I know a young lady called More
Who tied me up at 4.
Her husband Ken
Came home at 10
And kicked me out the door!

There was a young lady called Kate
Who married my very best mate.
When a girl named Lou
Married him too
I ran away with that young lady Kate …
There was a young man called Pete
Who dated a girl with bare feet.
As she walked down the wedding aisle
The congregation did smile
As she had no shoes on her feet!
There was a young lady of Berlin
Who played the violin.
The dogs they would howl
At her playing most foul
So they drummed her out of Berlin!
There was a young man named Howl
Who kept a pet barn owl.
When the bird hooted at night
It gave him a fright
And he called it a name most foul!
One day the owl will swoop
And I shall be gone
From the coop
Leaving a few fragments of verse.
It is my
Curse
On hearing the owl’s cry
To think on when I
Shall die
In short frocks
And with feet bare
They have no care
For clocks
That whir.
There was a young lady called Bland
Who wanted a one night stand.
I said “that’s all right”,
So she stood there all night.
That strange young lady called Bland!
There was a young lady called Bland
Who wanted a one night stand.
A holy man named Paul
Said “all men fall.
Your wish is my command!”.
