The Kindly Judge

An extremely kindly old high court judge
Is famous for not holding a grudge.
When he sentenced Miss Gale
To a spell in jail,
He gave her a box of fudge!

Now that’s just not only kindness, that’s empathy.

Of course, depending on what Miss Gale did…

A very amusing and funny poem, Kevin! I love it.

Thank you, Lucy. I’m delighted you love my poem. I understand that Miss Gale is a prolific stealer of sweets, so perhaps the judge was also showing his sense of humour in gifting that fudge to her! Your comment made me smile. Best wishes. Kevin
