My Aristocratic Friend, Who Likes To Doodle

My aristocratic friend, who likes to doodle
Maintains ideas that are almost feudal,
And lives on a great estate
With my young mistress called Kate,
And an anarchistic, fat old poodle!

When A Young Lady Whose Name Is White

When a young lady whose name is White
Got into a bit of a fight
Over her missing left shoe,
With a girl called Lou,
I went and hid her right!

When a young lady whose name is White
Got into a bit of a fight
With a girl called Lou,
Over her missing left shoe,
I wished them both “good night!”.

When a young lady whose name is White
Said, “I like Wuthering Height”,
And I asked, “do you mean Heights?”
She took off her tights
And said, “lets not discuss literature tonight!”.

“I am the girl with tiny arms”

“I am the girl with tiny arms”
You said. and now I
Sigh, and think on the charms
Of the tiny arms
Of a girl of 20 or so.
Although I know
That it will
Never be so.
Still, a man may,
Fruitlessly, pray.

A Young Lady Whose Name Is Lou

A young lady whose name is Lou
Has an obsession involving strong glue.
She is extremely posh
And has lots of dosh,
And she’s rather stuck up is Lou!

A young lady whose name is Lou
Has an obsession involving strong glue.
She is extremely posh
And has lots of dosh,
But she’s not as stuck up as you!

I Long For

I long for
A knock
At my door
And for
Passion to unlock
In loss of shoe and sock,
But please, let it not
Be as before,
A girl, half there, longing for
The door,
And me
Wishing that she
Where more . . .

2 Goddesses I Know

2 Goddesses I know
And will go
And worship at their feet
But they may my ardour defeat
And bid me cease,
‘Else they will call the police!
Should I therefore hold my peace,
Or whisper words of love
To a goddess above?
And if I express my passion
To a young lady of fashion,
To which one should
I speak?
I am weak
With desire,
‘Tis best to kill this fire
For ’tis only a delusion
That a goddess could
Give me her love,
And confusion
Would, I maintain
Reign, where I to voice
My love
To 2 goddesses above.
No, I shall stay
Away from goddesses
As there is too much choice . . .
