A young lady who had just turned 16
Said, “I’ll go out on the clubbing scene”.
So she donned her mum’s dress.
But a club bouncer called Bess
Said, “sorry darling, but you still look 16!”.

Maybe she did, but many sixteen-year-olds, when dressed up look about 20.
You make a good point, Vivienne. I remember drinking in pubs at the age of 17 with a friend of the same age, and neither of us where ever challenged.
