A young lady who works as a perfumer
Said, “you have absolutely no sense of humour!”.
As I stamped on her toes
I said, “my dear Miss Rose,
Don’t you wish you had met me sooner!”.

Ooh! Ouch! Poor toes. I bet she doesn’t wish that.
Funnily enough, she went on to say that me stamping on her toes had revived her belief that I do, in fact possess a sense of humour!
