She combs her hair, Fixes him with an enigmatic stare and with nonchalance descends the stair.

Trust The People
“Trust the people” he said, in a manner most beguiling.
The people harkened to his words, their eyes smiling and, afar off the sound of knives being sharpened was heard.
Perhaps
Laughter hides the pain inside, or do I over analyse?
Your words spoken, truth or lies? maybe I overanalyse?
Your passing kiss doth us divide, perchance I overanalyse?
Your smile conceals the hurt inside, perhaps I overanalyse.
Let Us Away
Let us away and make hay
For tomorrow we must pay
Let us frolic the live long day
But tomorrow we must pay
Mirror
The mirror sees it all
The writings on the wall
To the girl he calls
She turns to him and falls
Gazing in the glass
She sees the truth at last
Hides it with a laugh
Would that she could break the glass
Fire
I have felt the fire at midnight’s hour
It kindles brightly and sinks within the hour.
I have gazed at embers dying fast
Looked into the future and gazed into the past
I have raked the ashes cold, felt the bleakness in my soul.
Working Girl (A Poem)
She does what she has to do
Sees it through
Provides a semblance of love
Wraps him in her hug.
Her thoughts far away
Tonight she must stay
Its all for the pay
Wishes herself far away.
Likes the money and clothes, not the sex, god know!
Night Terrors
Don’t go too deep
We Sleep
Dark thoughts released
The subconscious roams unpoliced
We weep
Don’t go too deep
Ghosts
As ghosts we pass
Brittle as glass
Nothing lasts
Night
The soft cloak of night
Tender kisses delight
Lovers dally neath the moon’s light
