There once was a lady of Settle
Who went and stood on a nettle.
She said such bad words
That it frightened the birds,
And shocked the good people of Settle!

I’m not surprised she said bad words. Nettles are nasty.
Neither am I, Vivienne. I have been stung by nettles in the past and I must admit to my language having been somewhat colourful as a consequence! There are some woods close to my home. I love to walk there. Thus far I’ve encountered no nettles or brambles, however, I feel sure they will soon appear!
