Your mention of Great Tits reminds me of my grandfather who had a nesting box on his garden shed. I remember Blue Tits laying their eggs their. Some of the young survived and flew away, others did not make it.
My experiences are birds nowadays wanting a greater audience. They are nomore singing for only a few persons. 😉 xx Michael
