The Clock on the Wall

The clock on the wall

Watches us all

As we eat and sleep.

Sometimes the clock’s

Steady tick tock

Is heard over words.

Or, when alone

Sometimes I see

Time’s great scythe

Moving closer to me.

Hi Patty. Thanks. You don’t have to be on Tiktok in order to access content. However, (like other social media sites) they do, of course encourage you to join. In my experience of using both Youtube and Tiktok I’ve found that the latter attracts far mor likes and comments. But, of course, other users will have diverse experiences of the respective platforms. Best wishes. Kevin

I didn’t know you could look at content without having an account.

Maybe I’ll start that way. Just experiment with using it a bit.

I am logged into the Tiktok app on my phone, but not on my laptop. However, I can still view videos on my computer when not logged in. Good luck if you try Tiktok and do please let me know if you decide to post and I’ll follow you.

I’m no good at using the camera on my phone. However, I am learning to use the one on my Laptop. I’m a member of VIP Online Toastmasters and I’ve learned a ton about using the video camera when giving speeches there.

I belong to two clubs and with things becoming busier I’m going to need to make a choice about which I work with due to my schedule but I hope to continue with at least one.

Anyhow, something new to think about.

I know what you mean about finding time for a number of platforms. I concentrate on my blog and Tiktok (my posts go on to Twitter by default due to being connected to WordPress). Anyway, good luck balancing your various commitments, Patty.

I’m actually thinking of dialing back on some of the social media and narrowing my focus.
