A cold, sharp bark
Pearces the dark,
Interrupting a thought
I really ought
Not to indulge in,
Of women
And sin.
In the city
Those who are witty
Say, in fun,
“Civilisation is done”.
Whilst, in the dark
A fox’s bark
Sounds near, and clear.
Excellent piece Kevin.

My pleasure Kevin. All is well with me. I hope everything is well with you too. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
All is good with me, Thank you, Gabriela. Although it is rather too hot in the UK at the moment for my liking! I’m glad to hear that all is well with you. Kevin

The witty city ones
Don’t really see the sun
Their bark is worse than their bite
But with a real vixen they’d get a fright
Thank you for commenting and liking my poem, Ivor. Best wishes, Kevin
