The poet may redact
The light that through his poem does refract.
But the reader will therein construe
That she believes to be true.

My books among delph
On a shelf
May live.
I hope they pleasure give
To a soul
In search of a part of the whole.

The complete truth is impossible to find,
Yet the mind
Seeks on
Long after the poet has gone
To the skies
Where truth lies …

I Seek for grace,
In nature’s ever changing face.
the sheeting rain chased empty thought away.

This morning, The wind purifies,
Birds sing in sunny skies.
At times, my spirit flies
Or goes asighing with the breeze.

That I could
Soar high up in the trees
And be lost among the leaves.

Me Meandering

In trying to create utopia be careful lest your own inadequacies led to the creation of hell. Rather than dealing with deep rooted psychological problems there is a tendency for man to exert himself in the direction of saving the world. A noble aim but be wary that in your attempt your own inadequacies are not foisted upon mankind. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Look inside yourself and ask why am I acting in this manner? Am I perhaps failing to grapple with my own demons by choosing to fight those of others? Utopia has as many forms as there are men and women, be wary of those (including yourself) who claim to know the absolute truth. Those convinced that they hold the key to human happiness may hold the keys to hell.

Not Me Well Sort Of

Thus far all of my books have appeared under my given name (either K Morris or Kevin Morris). I am, however considering publishing a future book under a pseudonym. In the ideal world I’d publish and be damned but we do, unfortunately live in a world which is far from ideal. Indeed if we lived in such a world the matters dealt with in my proposed book would never see the light of day because, quite simply they would not have occurred.

I will write my book and if I feel it to be good enough it will appear as a self published work under a name other than my own. Just possibly, at some point in the future I may consider revealing my identity in terms of the planned book but I very much doubt that this will be the case for many years to come, if ever.
