Who claims to be 22.
But, all the barmen being mean
Say, “you are just 16”,
So refuse to serve that young lady Lou!

A young man who’s name is Wong
Is honest as the day is long.
But, as the days grow short
I think that I ought
To avoid that young man called Wong!

But come the dawn

I Saw A Ghost
I saw a ghost, that was somewhere
Yet not there.
I will deny
That it appeared to me
For, you see
Things of the night
Should stay out of sight
Of polite
Company.
A Young Lady Who Wears Stilettos
A young lady who wears stilettos
Goes walking through the ghettos.
Her name it is Claire
And she is well known there
And she wears only stilettos …

Who eats nothing but pie.
She has grown so very plump
That she can neither walk nor jump.
And she works at a baker’s in Rye!
On Entering My Room Last Night
On entering my room last night
I received a bit of a fright.
As there on my bed
In her nightdress blood red
Lounged a vampire with fangs pearly white!
