Yet in love’s dance,
Perchance, a poem is born

Lost in a girl’s eyes
A poet dies
In midnight sighs,
Yet in love’s dance,
Perchance, a poem is born
As I older grow
The dance
Of romance
Does slow,
Although, I still the dance floor scan
With a half-formed plan.
But for what?
I know not
Nameless feet have walked this way.
We danced but none did stay.
Some in heels, others bare
Dancing, dancing to who knows where.
The dance
May entrance
Or bring on care,
Shameless feet dancing, to who knows where.
Two girls hesitant to dance.
He seeking a kind of romance.
They with an eye to the main chance
Reluctantly advance.
