A far-sighted young lady named Lou
Established a company producing strong glue.
Each day at midnight
She would update her website,
Which she started in 1902!

Changes to Newauthoronline
Readers of this blog will notice that the title of my site has changed to “K Morris – Poet”, and the tagline to “Kevin Morris poet”. The web address (newauthoronline.com) remains the same. I have, however added a new subdomain (https://kmorrispoet.com), which will take you to my blog in precisely the same manner as newauthoronline.com.
When I first started this blog, I was a new author, hence the web address newauthoronline.com. However, the vast majority of my writing has, for the last few years consisted of poetry, hence the change in the site’s title and tagline to better reflect the nature of my work (and who I am as a person).
I have no intention of dispensing with the domain newauthoronline.com. So, in practical terms (other than the site’s title and tagline),the only difference you will notice is that my site can also be accessed at https://kmorrispoet.com
In the unlikely event that you do experience any difficulties, do please let me know, either by leaving a comment here or by sending an email to me at newauthoronline (at) gmail dot com. (the email address is rendered thus to defeat spammers)!
I have uploaded a further six poems to my Soundcloud.

You Come In The Morning
You come in the morning
And find me stretching, yawning.
Will you have me storming?
Or forlorning?
A new day is dawning
On the same old paper sheet
Of meet
And greet.
At break of day
You may
Find me yawning
And leave me, forlorning
With the truth, upon me dawning
There Was A Young Man of Stroud
There was a young man of Stroud
Who was obsessed with the cyber Cloud.
Where he met
A girl named Yvette,
Who existed in the Cloud.
A Young Lady Whose Name Is Lou
A young lady whose name is Lou
Spanks men with her shoe.
My friend Jim
Says she’s tall and slim,
But I don’t know if that’s true!
Birds That Fly
An unspoken token.
Perhaps a ring,
Or some other sundry thing,
Left behind
For a man to find
May cause his heart to sing,
Or ponder on why
Birds that fly
Leave a solitary feather
To remember them by.
Each Lass
Each lass
Does pass
Before the glass.
After wine
Arms entwine
With brass.
Each lass
Does pass
Before the glass.
And after wine
Arms entwine
With brass.
