Walking home in the pouring rain
I pondered on AI
And those who continue to maintain
The inevitability of progress.
The rain continued to fall.
Although I heard
No human word
Nature seemed to laugh
As I passed
Along the familiar churchyard path.
Walking home in the pouring rain
I pondered on AI
And those who continue to maintain
The inevitability of progress.
The rain continued to fall.
Although I heard
No human word
Nature seemed to laugh
As I passed
Along the familiar churchyard path.
I love it! Nature is right to laugh at the AI folly of the greedy.
Thank you, Liz! I’m delighted you enjoyed my poem.
You’re welcome, Kevin.
Well, AI is misnamed. It’s not intelligent at all!
But I like the idea that nature is laughing at us.
You may be right about AI not being intelligent at all, Vivienne. I’m glad you like the idea of nature laughing at us. I often get that feeling as I walk in a strong wind or in the heavy rain
And you didn’t stop to dance in the rain?
Funnily enough, I did not stop to do that. Although I must confess to being a lover of rain. It makes the earth smell so fresh and new.
