Corona Humour

When a young lady named Kate
Said, “you should self isolate”,
My good friend miss Iris
Said, “you don’t have the virus.
But Kate doesn’t like you mate!”.

Lol Kevin. Someone asked when I was going to di a Corona flea one, but at the time I wondered if some might think it bad humour lol. I don’t because it relueves tension. Great one here Kevin

Thanks Lorraine. Obviously I wish everyone to remain safe and well. But, as you say, I wrote this to relieve tension and I’m pleased you appreciated it. Best, Kevin

Yes, I posted some to relieve tension today and yesterday. We need it. I have been thinking about you a lot actually with you living where you do and having to go into London for work. Donyou feel abxiety? I would, but that is me! I hope you stay safe Kevin, as much as is possible. London has been so badly affected.

Thanks for your kindness in worrying about me, Lorraine. Yes I am concerned, but one must continue with life, taking all reasonable precautions to avoid infection. We have all now been advised to work from home and that is what I shall do. However whilst working from home helps (at least I hope it does) to protect from infection, there is the problem of isolation. Its nice to see colleagues in the office, laugh and joke (and, of course discuss work)! All the best, Kevin

Yes isolation is horrid. We are in isolation too, with being over 70 and having seriousbhealth conditions. It is a pain as we are not meant to answer the door or go shopping. But we are unable to shop ourselves anyway. But the sense of isolation is horrid. WordPress helps with that. I am glad you are able to not worry too much. It is a horrible time for everybody, even the pubs have clised down here, and the streets are empty.,,i keep thinking it is Armageddon lol. Take care Kevin x

There is no prohibition on you and your husband going out to take exercise, indeed I think on the NHS website and gov.uk it is mentioned about taking exercise, with advice about keeping a safe distance from others. I understand that stronger advice is due out next week but it, will, I believe still only be advice. In London most pubs and restaurants are still open, but most are fairly deserted. My mum’s partner went out in Liverpool yesterday evening for a drink with friends, but I haven’t heard from him as to how busy (or otherwise) it was in the city centre. Take care, Lorraine. Kevin

Thanks Kevin. I will. As I cannot walk anyway though, nothing wilk change there lol. Cwe are actually in self isolation, as advusedvto be, and apparently thus wilk go on for somebmonths. We are quitebysed to being alone though, cso not that much change really. Me and my husband cannot go out to the shops though. We are gaving deluveries from Tesco but when they camevthe other evening we hardly got anything bebecause of the panic buying! Hey ho!

It’s a dire situation. Thanks for trying to help with a little humour. But people are so stupid, buying up enough toilet paper for a yrar. And it’s selfish, too.
Also, people are not thinking about hygiene, either. A woman came from the toilets without washing her hands and proceeded to handle unwrapped tomatoes. A man stood with his credit card in his mouth, then put it in the card machine!

      Hi Vivienne.

I agree with you about some people being selfish and/or stupid and, sometimes both!

On a positive note, Sainsburys and Iceland have both announced that there will be an hour (8-9 am in the case of Sainsburys” during which only elderly people or those with disabilities will be able to shop. As someone who is registered blind I do, of course welcome this.

I hope you are safe and well and stay in good health.

      Kind regards, Kevin
