In honour of December, I am posting a poem from my collection More Poetic Meanderings, entitled In Early December:
“In early December
November’s leaves still adorn
The woodland lawn.
Man’s pattern is made
In light and shade
And the gardener’s rake
Rakes all leaves”.

Pingback: December Poetry – Patty's Worlds
Hi, Kevin.
You described our fall here too. Late fall is interesting in it’s ever changing weather.
Thanks for the beauty.
Hi Patty. I’m so pleased you can relate to this poem of mine and that you find it beautiful. Thanks for commenting.
Hi, Kevin. Youâre welcome. It feels much more like winter than fall today. Of course tomorrow is the Solstice.

late fall is a very special time, you’ve described it so well with your words
Thank you, Beth. I’m delighted you like my poem.
It sounds like my lawn. But the gardener’s rake has still to do its job. 😊
Ah, will the gardener’s rake be busy before the new year?
