When a man whose name is Ted
Found a young lady in his bed,
She said, “I’m your new neighbour,
And I’ve always voted for Labour,
Which is why my nightdress is red!”.

      I agree with you that a person’s name is not their identity. However this is a humorous poem, the point being to (hopefully) make people smile), I.E. this particular verse is not meant to be taken seriously. Many thanks for commenting and following my blog. Best wishes, Kevin

    Congratulations with your book. You must have worked very hard. I know how difficult it is publishing poetry on Amazon, but it’s so worth it. I love your flower pic too. I simply adore flowers so I know with the poetry too, I’m gonna LOVE this blog!
