A young lady whose name was Claire
Had beautiful, long brown hair,
But when it did rain
She cried out in pain,
As her hair it turned quite fair!
A young lady whose name was Claire
Had beautiful, long brown hair,
But when it did rain
She cried out in pain,
As her hair it turned quite fair!
And to comfort this lady called Claire
I invited her into my lair
She was never the same
Not ever again
Who knows what happened there?
Poor Claire! I dread to think what happened there to poor Claire, Lorraine! Thanks for making me smile. Kevin
I know Kevin. No one knows what happens in another’s lair lol
Perhaps it is better that way, Lorraine!
I think so Kevin!
Ooh that sounds like a nightmare, Kevin! I’ll be a bit worried next time I wash my hair..although, I might be ok, seeing as my name isn’t Claire!
I hope your hair remains fair, or whatever colour it happens to be, Debbie! All the best, Kevin
Haha! Well, my hair is brown & fairly short, Kevin, & it wouldn’t bother me being a different colour, but it would be a big shock to wash it & see that it had changed unexpectedly. Although I have dyed my hair before & been a bit shocked by the results, which has made for much hilarity. Good job I can laugh at my own misfortune!
I must confess that my hair was brown, and when it began to show signs of grey I dyed it brown! However I only did this once and decided to grow grey gracefully in future!
I think you did the sensible thing, Kevin. My hair also shows signs of grey, but I’m not quite ready to be too graceful yet! Which probably means I’m a little too vain, though dying my hair is damn near a pain! 😁
I think there is, if the truth be told, a little vanity in all of us (including me), Debbie. People remark on the fact that my lab/retriever Trigger is going grey. My response “like owner, like dog!”.
I think you’re right, Kevin. Most of us like to look good for as long as is possible. Aww grey always shows up more on dark fur or hair, even if Trigger isn’t that old! They do say dogs eventually look like their owners & vice versa. I’d say you are perfectly suited, Kevin!
