I hear the sound
Of timeless windchimes
As workmen hammer away.
Sometimes the profound
Is hard to say
So poets rhyme
Of windchimes
In late August
For all this must
Pass away.

Yes, the wind chimes ring out. They’ll be ringing harder later today as the wind is supposed to pick up.
I’ve long been a fan of windchimes, whether of the wooden or the metal kind. So I’m pleased to hear that they will be ringing out later today when the wind picks up. Thank you for commenting, Vivienne
