Traffic goes by
It’s sound amplified by rain.
A plane flies
In the summer sky
And birds sing.
While I compose my poetry
Touching on eternity
And the fleeting spring.

Life seems to pass very quickly in its entirety. Nicely done, Kevin
Thank you, Robbie. I’m delighted you like my poem
This poem paints a serene yet profound moment—where the mundane (traffic, rain) blends with the sublime (poetry, eternity). The contrast between fleeting nature (“summer sky,” “fleeting spring”) and the poet’s attempt to capture something timeless creates a delicate balance. The imagery is simple but evocative, leaving a quiet, reflective mood. Lovely!
Thank you so much for your very kind words. I’m delighted you like my poem.
