I wonder, when I die,
If it be in dream,
Will it seem
That I lie
Abed,
In perpetual dream?
I
Must take care
That my head
Is empty of all nightmare,
Lest, when I am dead
I, forever, dream.
I wonder, when I die,
If it be in dream,
Will it seem
That I lie
Abed,
In perpetual dream?
I
Must take care
That my head
Is empty of all nightmare,
Lest, when I am dead
I, forever, dream.
Ooh, Kevin, I never thought about dying in this way. One would definitely want to have their mind clear of all negativity should they pass from one realm to another while dreaming. Will this be like passing from one dream to another? I don’t know, but this is a great concept. Thank you for this. Very thought provoking.

Hi Patty. Many thanks for your comment. This poem came to me this morning shortly after having woken up. I did dream last night, but I don’t recollect the precise nature of it. Indeed. I hope that we all go into that eternal sleep with our minds clear of all negativity. Best wishes. Kevin
