I saw a child
In a pram
And smiled
For I am
Always glad
To see
A happy
Child.
Then, I was half-sad
That I have
No children to leave behind.
But then my mind
Turned to climate change, and I
Was half-glad
That when I die,
I will have
None to leave behind.
I agree with you, Kevin, having children is a mixed blessing in this day and age. I worry about the future because of my children.
Thanks, Robbie. I hope (and believe) that your children will, in all probability be OK. Humanity can be incredibly stupid, however it also has the capacity to pull back from the brink which, I hope it will. Best, Kevin
I too worry about my children and grandchildren. What sort of world are we leaving them?
Many thanks for commenting, Vivienne. I hope things will work out and, with care and commonsense I feel sure they will.
Best, Kevin
