There Was An Elderly Man Named Locke

There was an elderly man named Locke
Who owned a grandfather clock.
Dead on nine
He would dine
To the chimes of that grandfather clock

Thank you. I am delighted you like my limerick! I must confess to having read Locke’s “Second Treatise of Government” when studying for my degree in history and politics in the early 1990’s and his name does conveniently rhyme with clock! Many thanks also for following me at newauthoronline. Kind regards, Kevin
