The enigmatic sphinx, winks
As I
Pass by.
And seems to say
“‘Tis a beautiful day
And, of course
A nod is as good as a wink
To a blind horse.
But my good sir,
You should take extreme care,
For you think
I wink,

But the sun’s glare …”.
