I did softly explore
A flower, as yet
Unopened. And, on returning for more,
I found (to my half-regret)
That a bee
Had been before
And explored that flower,
To it’s tender core.
I did softly explore
A flower, as yet
Unopened. And, on returning for more,
I found (to my half-regret)
That a bee
Had been before
And explored that flower,
To it’s tender core.
This poem has made me think, Kevin.
Thanks, Robbie. I’m pleased it made you think. If you ever wish to share your interpretation of any of my poems, I’m always interested to hear what you (or any of my other readers) think. All the best, Kevin
