Me reading four of my poems on Soundcloud.
Me reading four of my poems on Soundcloud.
Me reading a further selection of my poems on Soundcloud.
You come in the morning
And find me stretching, yawning.
Will you have me storming?
Or forlorning?
A new day is dawning
On the same old paper sheet
Of meet
And greet.
At break of day
You may
Find me yawning
And leave me, forlorning
With the truth, upon me dawning
There was a young man of Stroud
Who was obsessed with the cyber Cloud.
Where he met
A girl named Yvette,
Who existed in the Cloud.
A young lady whose name is Lou
Spanks men with her shoe.
My friend Jim
Says she’s tall and slim,
But I don’t know if that’s true!
An unspoken token.
Perhaps a ring,
Or some other sundry thing,
Left behind
For a man to find
May cause his heart to sing,
Or ponder on why
Birds that fly
Leave a solitary feather
To remember them by.
Each lass
Does pass
Before the glass.
After wine
Arms entwine
With brass.
Each lass
Does pass
Before the glass.
And after wine
Arms entwine
With brass.
A young lady whose name is Fay
Said “Valentines was yesterday.
I must confess
That I’ve lost my dress,
And mum’s hair has turned quite grey”!
