When you leave your shoes
You lose
Them for a while,
Yet there can be no denial
They will be found on the floor
Outside the front door, and you will smile,
Put them on
And be gone.
When you lose your jeans
There will be scenes,
But they will be discovered
On the ground where they lie.
I sigh
And idly speculate
Whether you learned to late
That some things can not be recovered.
Well put!
Thank you!
I’ve something similar to your experience do you mind if I write like adding to yours but in my own blog?
I have no problem with that whatsoever. Can you please link to your post in the comments here when you publish it as I would be interested to read your article. Best wishes. Kevin
I can try to link some how or copy and paste lol. When I get to my laptop maybe tomorrow afternoon or Monday. Sundays are busy in this house!
I look forward to reading your post when you have time to write it. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
I just posted it but I don’t know how to link. If you want I can copy and paste it to your blog?
Thanks for letting me know. Yes, please do copy and paste it to my blog. Kevin
I connect with that so much as of late. Attempting to find what was recently lost, but in a new way. Beautiful piece.
Thank you so much for your comment. I am moved that my poem touched you. Kindest regards. Kevin
