I spent a long time yesterday attempting to compose this poem, and ended up throwing away several drafts. Part of Friday evening had been spent with friends in a wine bar, which may or may not have impacted on my ability to get the above poem right.

Ha! I know that feeling, Kevin.. I think you instinctively know when the words don’t sit right, but it usually works out better in the end 😊 whether or not you’ve been on the pop! Haha!
Many thanks for your comment, Debbie. You are right, its never a good idea to write when tired, whether that tiredness comes from hard work or a night on the town. Its always better to let the body rest prior to composing and pressing that “publish” button! Best wishes – Kevin
