Children at Play

The sound of children playing ball.

A Blackbird’s call.

Sunlight on green grass.

I know all this must pass,

Yet take delight

On this spring day

In the call of the blackbird

And children’s play.

It is quite warm in Liverpool today Michael. I spent much of the morning sitting in my mum’s garden, which is where my poem stems from. You too, a very happy Easter. Best wishes. Kevin

I do quite like the cooler weather Vivienne. Although I obviously don’t wish to become a block of ice either! Indeed we will soon see mor children at play outside.
