This one is deliciously gloomy. Loved it.
Thank you. I like your use of “deliciously gloomy” to describe my poem.
Poems are, I believe, often products of the moment. If one is feeling gloomy at a given point in time it is likely that this will be reflected in one’s writing (likewise if one is in a happy frame of mind). This morning (here in London UK) it’s a lovely sunny day, so the above verse probably wouldn’t have been penned on Saturday 14th April.
