A Poem by Walter Savage Landor

I am a fan of the short poem. Below is a brief untitled poem by Walter Savage Landor, 1775-1864 Walter Savage Landor – Wikipedia.

I strove with none, for none was worth my strife.

Nature I loved and, and next to nature, art:

I warmed both hands before the fire of life;

It sinks, and I am ready to depart.
