The extraordinary
Has become ordinary
And joy
For girl and boy
Is a mere matter
Of pounds, shillings and pence.
Dreams shatter
And his expense
Is a ticket to stations:
Anticipation,
Vanishing Expectation,
And their final destination … Despair
