This is beautiful.
Diamond black
Rain shines
On shadowed rock.
Moonlight sings
Above the lake
And dreams play
Languidly
In the mist.
We swim together
And the goddess watches.

Thank you for sharing my poem, Kevin.
You are very welcome Sue. Incidentally I see you are (as I am) an early riser. Kevin
Always, Kevin. A ‘lie in’ might get me to eight o’clock if I’m lucky…but that’s a rarity.
I am the same, Sue. I rarely stay in bed beyond 8 am and find that I develop a headache if I remain there once I am fully awake.
I’m up once awake.. the small dog sees to that 🙂
There is nothing like a dog’s cold, wet nose to get one up in the morning …!
Nor their insistence that you haven’t fed them in weeks 🙂
Indeed! I must confess that on a very few occasions, not being entirely certain whether my dog has had his 2 meals of the day (one in the morning and the other at night) I have fed him again …!
Ani always manages to fo the whole pathetically starving thing and supplements on treats and my dinner 🙂
