Eternity

Shall I intrude
Into their quietude?
The wind sings
As I,
Alone
Pass by
Gravestone.

Time has stopped,
For those below.
I have the clock
And somewhere to go.
But the wind sings
Softly to me
In the churchyard tree.

Thank you, Vivienne. I’m delighted you like my poem. I live opposite to a church and take a short cut through the churchyard practically every day, and sometimes several times a day.

      Best wishes. Kevin

Thank you, Michael. I’m pleased you appreciate my poem. I enjoy writing a variety of poetry, both serious and humorous. Life is full of variety and I write as the mood takes me. All the very best and enjoy your day. Kevin
